Powers Fine Art Site And Flash Debate

Due to the recent Adobe vs. Apple 'Grudge Match' regarding Flash and its future usefulness coupled with the recent statements from the Opera web browser representatives, I have decided to migrate my main website's Flash content to entirely JavaScript based alternatives. The galleries in my iPhone optimized and main sites have now been entirely converted to JavaScript and my next mission will be to convert my Flash book preview page to an alternate display option. Even recent comments in the Fine Art America forum by the FAA owner, Brian McDunn, have indicated that the future of Flash remains bleak and it would be wise to move away from the antiquated Flash technology within the coming year.

The reality is that everything that I had been doing with Flash previously is just as easily accomplished using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS alternatives. By converting from Flash to these alternatives, I have hopefully increased accessibility to my site and prolonged it's technological longevity.
