Rose metal print by Ken Powers. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
I just felt like painting a quick rose today! There isn't anything too special to describe other than this particular one was growing in front of my house and had a fantastic aroma. I enjoyed pumping up the contrast and accentuating the highlights and shadows a bit for effect. For areas of the background, I laid down a highly granulating paint and just as it was beginning to dry, saturated the paper with water to cause some interesting runs of pigment. The piece is painted with Rublev 18th century reproduction watercolor paint and Winsor & Newton watercolor paint on Arches 140# cold-pressed paper and is 14"x10.25" in size.
