I chose to name this painting shy because one of the flowers in the bouquet was leaning away from the others in a bit of a bashful manner. I had some interesting things happen with this piece as well. One of the paints I was using really wanted to repel additional glazing layers which created some unique textures and highlights. The original piece is 14"x10" in size and is painted with Daniel Smith and Sennelier watercolor paints on Arches 140# cold-pressed paper.
