Artist's Description
This was an experiment painted from a large box of discarded trumpet and trombone mouthpieces. It was originally all black and gray but I decided I needed to add some subtle colors to it in a few random places in order to add interest. It is painted with 18th century reproduction watercolor paint on Arches 140# paper.
