Artist's Description
I wanted to try something a little different for this composition. The concept was to have a "C" shape of red interlocked with a "C" shape of green with everything layered to create a sense of depth. I had a really difficult time getting the values correct to create the three-dimensionality I was looking for but in the end I am pleased. The original is 9.75"x13.75" in size and is painted on Arches 140# cold-pressed paper with Daniel Smith watercolor paint.
