This is another dahlia from my dark-background floral series. I experimented with the use of Daniel Smith Neutral Tint in areas of this piece to see what the paint was capable of. The original watercolor painting is 10" x 14" in size and is painted on Arches 140# cold-pressed paper using a combination of Daniel Smith, Sennelier, and Rublev watercolor paints.
