Artist's Description
This particular painting is going to be the subject of a beginning watercolor painting instructional book that I am currently working on. The book discusses the equipment and materials used to paint with watercolor, includes exercises and a step by step approach to painting this particular work. My eventual plan is to create several of these instructional texts but we will see how the first one progresses. The book will appear in ebook format first followed by print versions. This original piece is painted with only 4 Daniel Smith watercolor paints and a single brush on Arches 140# cold-pressed paper. It is 14"x10" in size.
