Artist's Description
I completed this piece in one sitting and painted as quickly as I could. I really wanted to see how the new Sennelier paints I have been playing with react in wetter conditions than I normally use. The effect of this is a considerably looser painting than much of my work with many interesting watercolor effects such as backruns, blooms, and granulation melded into the composition. The original is 12"x16" and is composed entirely of Sennelier watercolor pan paint on Sennelier 140# cold-pressed watercolor paper. The slight tooth of this paper really aided in coaxing out some of the granulation characteristics of the paint.
