This drive section of a buffing wheel assembly just beckoned to be added to my latest series of paintings. It was so boring, however, that I thought I needed to liven it up with a brick background and some non-standard colors. It is painted with a combination of 18th century reproduction watercolor paint and Daniel Smith watercolor paint on Arches 140# paper.
