The Chrysler Building was briefly the tallest building in the world. It is still among the tallest in New York City. Everything is relative to your view of the world though and from this perspective on Roosevelt Island the Chrysler doesn't seem as tall as some of the buildings lining the East River. That said, the famous art deco skyscraper still stands out no matte what angle from which it is viewed.
